PMP GroupPMP About

In 1989 the "Calsak Corporation International" an Auckland based, New Zealand company was established. Its core purpose was to service plastic sheet distributors and large end users. Four years later we opened an office in Sydney, Australia. In 1993 "Calsak Corporation International Sydney" was established.

Over a 3 year period we founded a good relationship with Senoplast Klepsch and Co, Austria, which helped grow sales for specialised multi layered co-extruded Senosan sheet into the Australasian markets.

In 1996 we bought a local distribution company servicing NZ customers, enabling us to become distributors for ICI Acrylics now Lucite International.

The following year, 1997 Calsak Corporation sold its business in the Australasian region and Senco Network was formed. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength and its unequivocal success is largely due to the following attributes:
  1. We are a dedicated group of people committed to the business.
  2. We have a specific focus on customer bases.
  3. We believe that service is paramount.
  4. We have a robust interface between key suppliers and the customer base.
  5. We have a strong technical support and product knowledge.
  6. We have strategic branch locations and service dedicated markets.
In 2004 the group of companies changed its name to PMP (Plastics Materials and Processes). From these humble beginnings PMP has developed sales teams around the world, and supply specialty plastic sheets, films and foils with full supply programs.

This includes programs of sustainability, recyclability and re-use of materials to support practices for environmental enhancement and profit stability for our much valued clients.

In 2009 PMP Technologies was founded in a Joint Venture to capture PMP's core competencies and intellectual property. This multifaceted approach enabled our group to up skill our existing clients and capture new clients for our business. Our supply partners also benefited in this approach to this industry. These benefits existed in PMP Technologies providing training and knowledge in use of plastics. Also information in synthetic and plant based polymers for chosen manufacturing of specific applications. PMP Technologies' primary objective is to help in selection of material, machinery specifications, tool design, prototyping and training in production and use materials use in application to manufacturers, distributors and OEMs.
